Graduation Information 2017
Dear Prospective Graduate,
Congratulations on your accomplishment so far. We hope that you will celebrate this journey by being a part of the graduation ceremony. Please complete the graduation application form and submit to the Registry at or take it in to the office of the Registrar at 1 Arthur Wint Drive. For ease of process please find form attached or visit our website and download.
Registration
Persons who have outstanding balances will be asked to pay these balances in addition to the graduation fee in order to be eligible to attend the graduation ceremony. Fees may be paid by Credit Card (Visa/MasterCard/KeyCard) or cash at Accounts Department of at any NCB Branch into the Edna Manley College Account.
Proof of payment for Graduation Fee and Statement of Account showing zero balance must be submitted to the Registry Department to collect your Graduation Photo Ticket and Graduation Invitations.
Registration Period: October 2-31, 2017 from 8:30am – 5:00pm Mondays-Thursdays & 8:30am - 4:00pm of Fridays
CHECK LIST FOR PREPARATION FOR GRADUATION
• Pay any outstanding fees owing to the College
• Obtain financial/caution fee clearance (Library/Hostel/Accounts)
• Pay Graduation registration fee (Includes the cost of graduation photo package)
• Present payment voucher/proof of payment/Statement of Account Balance to Registry Personnel and collect ticket forphoto package
• Return completed registration forms to the Office of the Registrar
• Return graduation gown after the ceremony

Eligible Candidates $15,000.00
Photo Package Only $3,000.00
Degree Holder Only J$3,500.00
PAYMENT OF GRADUATION FEE (J$15,000) INCLUDES THE COST OF GRADUATION, PHOTO PACKAGE, DEGREE HOLDER, RENTAL OF GOWN,CAP, HOLD, ALUMI PIN AND EMCVPA CUP.
Rehearsals
Dress Rehearsal will be held on Friday November 17, 2017 @ 1:00pm at The Edna Manley College, VeraMoody Concert Hall, School of Music.
Ceremony:Saturday, November 18, 2017 @ 2:00 pm Vera Moody Concert Hall
Photographs
The official photographer assigned to the College is Bryan Studios Limited. Graduates must presenta Photo Ticket at Bryans Studios to have their photographs taken during the period of November 6-December 9, 2017. (See enclosed photo flyer for more details)
Please ensure that you wear the correct hood when you are taking your pictures at the Studio.

Form of Dress
Graduates are required to wear the Gown with appropriate Hood provided by the College. The wearingof corsage & boutonnieres is not permitted.
Females
White or off- white dress of a simple design Headgear and elaborate accessories are not appropriate.
Males
Dark suit or dark pants with white shirt and dark necktie along with matching dark shoes.
PREPARATION FOR PROCESSION
All graduates must report to the holding area to be dressed and announced by 12:00 noon on the dayof the ceremony. Gowns will be fitted at this time and instructions given for the procession.
DEGREES/DIPOLMAS/CERTIFICATES
“Dummy” Degrees/Diplomas/Certificates will be handed out at the Ceremony. This is to ensure thatgraduates receive their correct Degrees/Diplomas/Certificates, and that gowns are returned at thatsame time. Please note that only students in good financial standing with the College will be issued Degrees/Diplomas/Certificates.Certificates may be collected after the ceremony at the Registry office between 6:00pm-7:00pm
RETURN OF GOWNS
Your gown must be returned immediately to the Dressing Room after the recessional.
Reminders
Only registered graduates will be permitted to participate in the ceremony.
All outstanding obligations to the College must be cleared prior to registration.
