Job Title: Inside Sales Specialist FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Part-Time)

Elektrim Motors has a career opportunity available in our Schaumburg, IL location for an assertive, customer focused, and results-driven individual. The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for generating new opportunities from leads, in addition to all customer requests, such as order processing, product application and substitution, price, and availability information, shipment coordination, special quotations and order expediting. This position works closely with other departments, including Outside Sales, Credit, Purchasing, Warehouse and Management. The successful candidate will possess a commitment to delivering quality customer service, a strong work ethic, excellent verbal communication skills, and proven organizational skills. An Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Primary Functions & Responsibilities

Qualifies leads through direct telemarketing, and accurately documents process in CRM database.

Interacts with customers via phone to sell products, to assist customers in their selections, and to provide price and availability information.

Enters, tracks, and prepares quotes, orders, backorders, and RMAs.

Conducts follow-up on all quotations in an attempt to secure the order.

Answers and manages incoming phone calls, including checking and responding to voice messages.

Monitors and responds to electronic messaging (Outlook & Ticket System) in a timely manner.

Develops product knowledge, including appropriate product substitutions, applications, features and benefits.

Supports outsideSales in their efforts to secure and facilitate new customers, including setup and orders.

Experience & Skill Requirements

Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/sales experience

Experience in a fast paced, high inbound/outbound call environment is strongly desired

Must be highly reliable with strong interpersonal, written, phone and listening skills

Basic understanding of sales techniques, processes, and environment

Self-motivated to meet or exceed goals and follow-up to close sales

Articulate and professional with an enthusiastic attitude and a focus on results

Excellent time management and organizational skills, including ability to plan and manage competing priorities

Attentiveness to detail coupled with problem analysis and resolution skills

Strong computer skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access)

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time

Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods of time
