PCA-5640 is designed as a high-performance yet fan-less VGA card to meet the needs of future industrial applications that require outstanding graphics performance and multi-panel support in gaming, medical and instrumentation applications.
Powered by the ATi MobilityTM (M10) graphics accelerator, the PCA-5640 supports AGP 8X as well as DirectX® 9. Utilizing the latest 0.13 micron process technology, PCA-5640’s core clock speed is enhanced to 300 MHz. Incorporating 64MB DDR SDRAM of high-speed memory, this latest industrial VGA card family member enables better graphics quality and faster processing capability. Advantech provides its customers with an ideal and premium solution for industrial applications with panel support requirements. Advantech’s PCA-5640 not only supports VGA, TV-Out (S-Video port and optional Composite port), DVI, CRT, and LVDS (115Mhz LVDS interface; 2048x1536 at 60MHz) video outputs, but also supports dual independent displays. The unique low power consumption of the ATi Rage MobilityTM M10 means fan-less designs, for power conscious applications.
