Leadership and Person-centred workplace design opportunity

Review working processes to ensure your organisation can evidence how your workplace is designed around the people you care for

BACKGROUND:

This event is aimed at care providers who would like guided support to make service improvement changes in their organisations. This may include:

1.Redesigning services around the needs of your clients

2.Redesigning processes to eliminate duplication and so reduce costs

3.Identifying the skills required to make the change

4.Embedding the change

5.Reviewing administration functions and developing a customer care charter

6.Creating a communications plan to promote your business to your employees, clients and partners

7.Developing an outcomes based action plan to help ensure you measure your progress.

You will be supported through a diagnostic process to identify the changes you want to make and delegates will be selected on the basis of drive and clarity around what they want to achieve.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

You will be able to select who is best placed in your organisation to attend the workshops and this may vary from workshop to workshop. It is important that the people who do attend are able to inform the changes that you need to make.

Booking forms welcomed from residential and nursing care providers, organisations providing supported living for both younger adults and older people and homecare agencies.

Open to organisations across Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County.

OUTCOMES THAT WILL BE ACHIEVED:

These will be designed by delegates and support will be provided during the workshops and through coaching from Optimum Team. The coaching will be provided individually in your care setting and over the telephone.

HOW THE LEARNING WILL BE DELIVERED:

Workshops will be highly participative and provide learning through case study, group work and role play.

Coaching will be carried out between January and March 2017 to embed the actions you have identified to achieve your organisational goals.

WHERE THE LEARNING WILL BE DELIVERED:

Venues are yet to be agreed and will be decided depending on the location of the delegates. Where possible will be delivered in care settings and move round the localities of the organisations involved.

COMMITMENT REQUIRED:

All delegates MUST be committed to attending all the dates, undertaking the actions that have been signed up to between sessions and bringing in examples to demonstrate the progress that is being made.

You will also be expected to participate in the coaching sessions to support the achievement of your outcomes based action plan

Non-attendance at any workshop will incur a charge of £50 per person per day.

Provide feedback on progress as requested, complete evaluationsand case study forms as requested before 17thMarch 2017

COST:

The full delegate cost of this event would be £300 per person. As we have received funding for this Optimum require an admin fee of:

Premium Members:£100 per organisation(£50 per person)

Open Members£200 per organisation(£100 per person)
