MINUTES OF A BRANCH MEETING OF THE EAST CAPE BRANCH OF IMESA
HELD ON WEDNESDAY 24 JUNE 2015
- PRESENT
An attendance register was presented and signed by all who attended.
A good number of guests attended the site meeting as well as the branch meeting.
The site meeting was at Fishwater Flats.

Mr Turner opened the meeting and welcomed all.

Visiting member from Southern Cape Branch Mr Vorster.

New HEQSF programmes – Mr Crouse
Costing information – document was emailed to all members, input needs to be emailed back to Susan – IMESA Pty Ltd was established as a service to municipalities, information is needed.
Students – all qualified.
- BURSARIES
Open for 2016.
No current bursars from Eastern Cape.
Members and their children are eligible for bursaries.
Electrical engineering, Health and Safety can also be considered.
Bursaries also available for members and public. The bursary is basically a grant.
- MEMBERSHIP
Approval by EXCO – Mr Ndlovu
Application received – 1 Mr Ruan van Niekerk
Mr Madwayi was transferred to the Southern Cape.
Visiting member from Southern Cape was welcomed, Mr Vorster.
Reminder that forms are available through the secretary.

All members are reminded to pay their fees.
- CONFERENCE
IMESA Conference will take place in Goodwood, Cape Town.
2.5 CPD points if you attend – very good experience.
