Description: Kindergarten through core 8th teachers will examine their math and writing targets and the “unwrapped” targets that have been identified (I can statements). Teachers will then use the worksheet provided to identify teacher progressions, rigor level of the target(s), prequisite skills needed before instruction begins, and potential assessment types and questions that my evolve from reviewing the student and teacher progressions. This work session is a follow-up to the September Teacher Institute for 6th -8th Teachers on September 14, 2012 and the K-5 work sessions on September 24th-26th in which we discussed unwrapping targets and standards.
