1. Scope of Mobile System Design:
After attending the mandatory site visit, survey within two days the storage needs of all squadrons and from your surveyed information, design a high-density mobile storage system based on the following performance specifications; a design which will incorporate individualized access, separate security and particular storage for each squadron, all within a footprint of approximately (70) feet wide by (32) feet deep by (10) feet high. The approximate capacity of the shelving system is 16,200 cubic feet, including a minimum of (3,600) lineal feet (front edge) of storage-shelving of various depths. Provide a minimum of (21) moveable carriages and (1) stationary platform with regard to meeting the need for individualized access and security for each squadron. Shelving is to be mostly of heavy-duty, closed post-design, with steel top canopies and also steel back enclosures in sufficient number and location to provide separation and security between squadrons. There is to be a minimum of (4) ADA-compliant, moveable aisle spaces available within the entire footprint.
Provide in your proposal 1) a dimensioned drawing of your proposed system design, including detailed elevations of the shelving for each squadron, 2) locations and specifications of your electrical power needs, 3) your manufacturers Statement of Warranty for the proposed system, 4) a statement of your qualifications and a profile of your company, including the number of years in business and a list and date of installation of similar installations of electric mobile systems and 5) confirm that your installers for the project are factory-certified and state their base location of operation. In the following itemized Performance Specification section, mark your answer “yes or no” to the questions of compliance to each specified feature.
