5th Grade Yearbook

Hello 5th Graders & Parents,

As you may know there are different components of the 5th grade section which takes up about half the book.

v  Group Photo

v  Individual Portraits

v  Class Photos

v  Goodbye Pictures

v  Baby Pictures (ONE per student)

v  Through the Years Photos(1st-5th grade photos of current 5th graders; school events ONLY)

v  Dedications

The group photo, individual portraits, class photos, and goodbye pictures will all be taken care of by the photo company. However, Baby Photos and Through the Years photos need to be submitted by you! The ONLY way they will be accepted will be through the public upload. (Directions below.)

If the only copy of the photo you have is paper then you will need to scan it into your computer, save it as a picture and then upload it to the yearbook program. You MUST LABEL all photos uploaded so we know who the child is as a baby or what grade for Through the Years, we have no way of knowing otherwise. This will also help ensure parents their photos have made it safely into the yearbook.

Here are the steps to using the public upload site:

To Upload Photos From your Mobile Devices:

• Search for Balfour Image Share in your app marketplace

• Download the app

• Enter our project number 829081 and password DP2018

To upload your photos from computer:

1. Point your web browser to: images.balfour.com

2. Enter our project number 829081 and password DP2018

3. Enter your contact information (if we need to contact you about your photos)

4. Browse and select one or more images from your computer to upload

5. Add captions to each photo (Grade & Event)

6. Click Begin Upload to upload your images

7. It will tell you when complete.

8. Any pictures that are not labeled will not be used as we can not be certain who or what is in the image.

Image Reminders:

- Images should be in JPEG & PNG format, RGB

- Maximum file size is 20MB per image

** The last day to submit photos & forms is February 15, 2018, start now! The yearbook staff will review all photos and determine final yearbook content. We cannot guarantee that all submissions can be used in the book. Label each photo with a grade! Any pictures that are not labeled will not be used as we cannot be certain who or what is in the image or grade. Drum Point School Events photos ONLY!

Dedications

Please submit no more than 3 messages per student to be fair to all, as space is limited. Write/type your 3 dedications below and continue on back if necessary. Write clearly so the correct information is put into the year book.

Dedications are $5 for every 25 words. Send form and payment together. Your dedications will not be entered if payment is not received. Send cash (exact change only) or checks made out to Drum Point PTA. Thank you.
