Meanwhile,severalyouthgroupsmadepresentationsattheClub's7:15a.m.breakfast meeting,Includedwere:TheRMIInteractClubofCountryDayGoodHopeSchool, undertheChairmanshipofRotarianYvonneLiburd;FSLA-FutureBusinessLeadersof America;RMIScholarshlpReclpl,nts-selectedbyRotarianNinaYork;TheStPatrick

Steel Pan Orchestra played very melodic breakfast tunes. The members were so Impressed that they raised $400.00 towards theorchestra'striptoVlrslnlaandSalSanpere retainedthebandfor$500.00toplayathis function.

PrasldentFrancoisvisitedandaddressedtheClub. ThusfartheClubhasheldafoodsale,served breakfast and sans Christmas Carols at the LighthouseMIHlon,Theyalsosansandpresented siftstochildrenInthePediatricWardattheGov,

JuanLuisHospItal.ThemembersvisitedtheRMIat a7:15a.m,breakfastmaetlnswheretheyreceivedadonationof$100.00usedto purchasematerlalstomakeValentinecardsandobtainothergoodiesforwinnersof theDuathlon.AtthateventtheyassistedInregistrationandmonitoredtharacecourse. DuringthemonthofFebruary2017,theclubcontinuedwithItssponsorshipofthe annualKidsOuathlon.ChildrenbetweentheasesofSand1ScompetedIncycUnsand running.PrizesforthewinnerswaredonatedbyourInteractmembers,whoalso providedassistancealongtheracecourse.

AtourlastmeetingforthemonthofFmbruary,severalmembersoftheSt.Patrick's SchoolSteelpanensembletreatedustoawonderfulrepertoireofsanes,ThebandIs currentlyraisingfundstoattendtheVirginialnternatlonalPANfestInMayatVlrslnla Beach,Vlrslnla.Asaresultofourclub'scommitmenttoyouthandyouthactivities,we wereabletocollect$400.00whichwasdonatedtotheband.

InthemonthofMarch,thaclubco-sponsoredtheannualluncheonfortheCenterfor

IndependentLlvlns.TheCenterwasestablishedmanyyearsasotoprovideassistance tomembersofthecommunitywhoe,cperlencedallychallengesresu\tlnsfromawide range ofdlsabllltles.

Tocommemoratethe1001hanniversaryofthetransferoftheVirginIslandsfrom DenmarktotheUnitedStatesofAmerica,theclubplantedBAsavecactusplantson thegroundsoftheJuanLuisHospItal,TheAsaveplantIsnativetotheIslandofSt.Croix, andIscommonlycalledthe"centuryplant"becauseItblossomseveryhundredyears.

InrecognitionofWorldWaterDay,theclub closedoffthemonthofMarchbydellvarlng 100casesofbottledwatertotheelderly residentsoftheWhimGardensCommunity. The club In conjunction with the U.S. Department of Agrlculture•Natlonal Resources Conservation Service will alsodo

aradiopresentation onthe Importance of water conservation.

InearlyApril,PresidentandMemberSweanyappearedasguestsontheCommunity Digesttalkshow.ThisprovidedtheClubwithanopportunitytospreadthenewsabout RotaryandItsmission.Thecommunitywas1110broughtuptodateontheClub's accomplishmentsthusfarforthe2016-17RotaryVear.

Theclubcontinuestomakelt1communityabetterplacetollvebymaintainingIts

PeaceGardenattheGoldenRockTriangle,andprovidingbreakfastthree(3)Saturdays permonthforthehomelessattheLighthouseMission.
