Nebraska Real Property Appraiser Board: The QE courses offered in this brochure are approved by the Nebr. Real Property Appraiser Board for Qualifying Education & Continuing Education. The CE courses offered in this brochure are approved by the Nebr. Real Property Appraiser Board for Continuing Education.
Iowa Real Estate Appraiser Examining Board: The CE courses in this brochure which are offered in Iowa are approved by Iowa Real Estate Appraiser Examining Board for Continuing Education.
Nebraska Real Estate Commission: The QE & CE courses/seminars offered in this brochure are honored by the Nebr. Real Estate Commission for Continuing Ed. for sales persons and brokers.
Nebraska Dept of Revenue: The QE & CE courses/seminars offered in this brochure are honored by the Nebr. Dept of Revenue for Continuing Ed. for Assessor recertification.
Other States: Appraisers in other states may be eligible to receive credit for courses/seminars offered in this brochure & should check with their state appraiser board.
AQB Course Approval Program (CAP) Information: The following courses have been purchased from Hondros Learning Center: Basic Appraisal Principles; Basic Appraisal Procedures; Residential Market Analysis & Highest and Best Use; Residential Site Valuation & Cost Approach; Residential Report Writing & Case Studies; Advanced Residential Applications & Case Studies; Statistics, Modeling and Finance; Residential Sales Comparison & Income Approaches, Mastering Unique & Complex Property Appraisal; Residential Appraisal Review. Hondros has been granted course approval through the AQB Course Approval Program. The Moore Group, Inc. has a secondary provider agreement with Hondros Learning.
The Moore Group, Inc. has a licensing agreement with The Appraisal Foundation (TAF) for the following courses: National Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice 15-Hour; and National Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice 7-Hour. These are TAF’s National USPAP courses. TAF has been granted course approval through the AQB Course Approval Program.
IDECC: Hondors Learning is the primary provider for all of the on-Line continuing education offerings. IDECC has granted Hondros primary provider certification for the courses. IDECC has granted The Moore Group, Inc. secondary provider certification for the courses.
School Policies:
· Pre-registration is required. Registration should be submitted a minimum of two weeks prior to the class. Enrollments after that date will be accepted as space permits.
· Enrollments will not be accepted without payment in full.
· If registration is made on-line (using a credit card as payment), the registration is processed immediately and a receipt/confirmation letter will be email to the student immediately. If registration is NOT made on-line, but instead is sent by mail,the registration will be processed approximately one-week before the class and the receipt/confirmation letterwill be emailed to the student at that time.
· Withdrawals must be submitted in writing to The Moore Group, Inc. Withdrawals can be emailed to The Moore Group, Inc. at , Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm CT.
· Withdrawals received within three days of registration will be refunded in full.
· No refunds will be issued for withdrawals received after class begins.
· Continuing Ed. Courses: Withdrawals received after three days of registration but before class begins will receive a refund, less 25% of course tuition.
· Qualifying Ed. Courses: Withdrawals received after three days of registration but before class begins will receive a refund of all tuition paid except a registration fee not to exceed$150.00 as per State Statute.
· Refunds will be issued within 30 days following receipt of withdrawal.
· The School reserves the right to cancel any class, at any time, and will refund in full. If a class should be cancelled, students will be notified.
· Attendance for 100% of the class is required.
· Disruptive or abusive behavior will be grounds for dismissal from class.
· A student may take any specificappraisal course from any approved provider (school).It is not compulsory that any one provider (school) be used exclusively for a student's required appraiser education. However, an individual course must be started and completed with the same provider (school). Credit for the classroom hours attended with one provider (school) cannot be transferred to a different provider (school)to complete a specific course.
