She wears her MK uniform everyday! She wants people to know her as Kristin - the Mary Kay lady! People ask about it in the grocery store or wherever she goes! The beauty coat was like a cape - it got her into the Mary Kay mode! Immediately felt motivated!
The most effective way to find/train leaders is at a party!
Lead by example! You cannot lead where you do not go! You can party your way to the top in Mary Kay!
The only difference to where you are and where you want to be is more parties!

Kristin's mom worked when she doesn't feel like it! Her friends thought she was crazy - why didn't she just get a real job!? If Kristin would've listened to others her 1099 wouldn't have said two hundred and some thousand!

She does ONE PARTY - the miracle set party. Does she sell volufirms, botanical set, etc. does she sell them? YES! but if it doesn't come in the starter kit she doesn't do it. We want people who gets a starter kit to say OMG I can do what Kristen just did and I have everything in my kit to do that party! KEEP IT SIMPLE.
The only color she does are lip gloss/mascara - they come in the starter kit! Doesn't sample CC creams - doesn't come in the starter kit!

$25 - Provide guest list within 48 hours. 1 page document text over to hostess - texting over the reminder of how she gets $200 - we want them to have $100 free before the party! We want the guest list! The parties aren't holding if you don't coach the hostess and aren't getting the guest list! If I don't get the guest list that party isn't going to hold, SISTER!! Text or Email IN 48 HOURS AND GET $25 in free product! About 1/3 are actually goingto show - OVER INVITE!
$25 - 5 guests who are 21 or older who don't have a consultant
$25 - over $225 in party sales
$25 - 2 bookings for future parties.
$100 with $100 or more in outside sales (friends who cannot attend!) -- You're giving a $100 for $100 - making no money!? If this hostess can sell to family/friends/coworkers - it brings in wholesale - gets her on more products - this shows her and me that this chick can SELL!! Who is the #1 recruit - the hostess! I want her on my team!! I am willing to give up my profit - breaking even - to prove she can do it! After she's done hosting - I want her joining! So many bookings from my bookings.
---> hostess bucks ----> $25 -----> When I'm thanking my hostess at the beginning of the party "what an honor it is to have you a hostess! I want to congratulate you because you've already earned $125 in free product (or whatever the amount is)!!!" Take these hostess bucks $25 dollar increments - handing them out in front of everyone! The guests are like OMG - she hasn't even started the party or anything and earned $150 bucks. Letting the group know at the beginning that you're earning so much money! People are like THIS IS THE BEST HOSTESS PROGRAM EVER! At the end you can say, "Wow you had a $500 party and have $100 in outside sales" ---- LOOK AT ALL THE CUSTOMERS YOU HAVE ALREADY! when you love your hostess program you can say "you gotta be crazy not to host a party with me!!"
utilize goodie bags!!!!! AND PERSONALIZING THEM!!
texting guests the picture of personalized goodie bag after they've RSVP'd - do you know how many people show up to the party to get that bag!?use labels with the NAME of guest - that's the only thing personalized - if someone doesn't show up - slap another label on there!
MOST PEOPLE RESPOND TO TEXTING - DON'T HIDE BEHIND TEXTING - BUT ITS' THE EASIEST WAY TO CATCH PEOPLE!! Plus, before you did mary kay would you answer the phone if you didn't recognize the #? No, but you would look at a text!!
If Katie didn't show - youcan text her and say "I'm so sorry you couldn't show to Tammy's party! I still have your goodie bag! Tammy's party is open for another week! Would you like to meet with me AM or PM?!" Book her to be a guest at a meeting or turn it into a party!!
What comes in a goodie bag (the only thing personalized is the label with the name on it!!)

Remind them at the individual consultation they will get their goodie bags throughout the party! They weren't getting people at the individual consultation - it was awkward! Like "who wants to check out...." Instead say "hey girl! are you ready to get your goodie bag?!" then take her and ask her those three main questions.

Free, exciting, fun, so much communicating via text! So cute! I am her party planner - I am going to help her get that $200 - make it look super easy (cause it is!) and why her friends want to book with me too.
KRISTIN USES FB A LOT - She takes pictures. Doesn't post on personal page - posts them on hostesses page - find her on FB - I am a normal lady! I want her to see my life, I have a family, builds the relationship. Post the picture on her page: "Thank you so much for hosting such an EPIC MK party! You have the most fun friends! THANK YOU THANK YOU!" Text Tammy - thank you again for being a hostess - would you mind tagging the girls - the people that booked - I can individually message those people and people comment, "omg that looks like so much fun!" and can individually message those people as well!
Never do a party alone! Looking for the next leader! The eagles! The director! Learning while earning. Coaching what the party needs to look like and her responsibilities! This is what my table look up - when I wanna see that hostess I wanna give her attention. The "assistant" sets up the table and cleans it off while meeting with the individual people before they play the purse game!
Always use a black table cloth - highlights our product!
Get in and out of the house. Don't wanna be ther for four hours - set up, clean up, wham bam thank you ma'am! OUT IN TWO HOURS!!!
Kristin brings a Bin, 2 MK luggage for inventory, and skincare bag. - don't worry about putting things away nicely - you can do that later!

Have the starter kit they order sent to your house - KEEP IT SIMPLE - THAT'S WHY WE ONLY DO WHAT COMES IN THE STARTER KIT!! Pass out "what you think" sheet that is attached in this email - do wanna be a hostess? come to MK event? 2nd glamour appt?be a MK CONSULTANT.

a lot of leads from gyms - tables at gyms - free and satin hands demo in bathroom - and shops like vera bradley, etc has to do so many customer appreciations - WARM CHATTER out and about. Outside orders from hostesses - that $100 for $100!
