HALCON 11 World Tour Begins in Munich

MVTec Software GmbH hosts the HALCON 11 World tour aligned with the market launch of the new version 11 of their machine vision software HALCON on June 1, 2012. This roadshow starts in May 2012.

Halconists from around the world will take part in the HALCON 11 World Tour to learn about HALCON’s innovations and enhancements. The World Tour will take place across Europe, Asia, and America.

As an opening event of the world tour, an intensive five days training for distributors from many countriesin Munich is designated, beginning May 7, 2012. This meeting is considered as a kick-off to the following tour which addresses HALCON users. Moreover, in North America an additional distributor training will take place.

In addition to the distributor training, main target of the HALCON 11 World Tour is to strengthen the global community of Halconists and get them acquainted with the new product in detail. These official HALCON 11 user events start in Frankfurt on May 22, 2012.

HALCON 11 provides innovations like sample-based identification, improvements around 3D vision, and enhanced usability. Furthermore, new customers are provided with informationabout the advance of machine vision.

MVTec cooperates worldwide with distributor partners which represent machine vision on a high level in their respective countries. HALCON is continuously developed by MVTec engineers and is used by the industryinwidely varying machine vision applications.
