Many associate Samurai warriors with their namesake swords, but accuracy with bows was just as important. This ancient Japanese fighting force had to illustrate proficiency up to 330 feet with longbows. It is this type of precision and dedication to archery that led Archer Xtreme (AXT) to the design of its newest sight, the Ronin. As accuracy was demanded from the Samurai, so demanded Archer Xtreme of the Ronin. To ensure precision, a 2-inch HD Fiber Guard Sight Ring was developed to allow for quick target acquisition. Bowhunters will certainly appreciate this when hunting tight quarters in the deer woods. The Sight Ring also offers unbridled protection of the fiber optic sight pins to keep branches and thick brush from knocking the pins out of alignment. The AXT Ronin’s micro adjustment knobs make dialing in your bow simple and dependable. Instead of guessing on windage and elevation movements, turn the knobs a specific amount of clicks to move the arrow millimeters to dead center.
Archer Xtreme is known for smart design, and the AXT Ronin continues this heritage. All five of the fiber optic pins feature the company’s .019 Center Core Pin technology. This means the fibers are small, bright, and run through the center of the pin instead of running along the outside, like many other sights are manufactured. This offers unmatched protection of the fiber optics and keeps the pin from overwhelming small targets at far distances. For low light situations, Archer Xtreme has included a Micro LED, which can be turned on to illuminate the fiber optics. Plus, the sight was designed to be convertible and will fit both right hand and left hand bows.
