  17. Imagetrend: Have been working with the PCR vendor in an effort to improve the data communication between the healthcare facilities (Mercy / Unity Point). The process of getting facesheets and PCR to either system (EPIC or Cerner). The vender will be present at the next Training committee meeting on April 7th, 1330 to 1530.

  19. Increasing involvement with the healthcare facilities, mission lifeline, providers, and EMS agencies. Minutes are on the website.
  20. Quarterly STEMI presentation will be held on May 10th from 1800-2000, social time 1730, at Christopher’s restaurant.
  21. Mission lifeline video release, in partnership with CIEMSD, on recognition of ACS, early EMS activation, and transport to appropriate facility will be presented.

  30. Polk County: 2 hour shut down for system update on April 11th @ 0800 to 1000. During this time dispatch will be from DSM dispatch center

  33. IEMSA:
  34. Great turn out for EMS day on the hill.
  35. Narcan discussion is that IEMSA will remain neutral in regards to the states legislative bills. 3 bills are currently active with amendments attached to them regarding the use of narcan / opioids.
  36. Billing and Management Conference is April 14th
  37. EMS Week Memorial will be May 13th at West Des Moines, IA Station 19th. Names to be recognized at the EMS Memorial need to be received by April 7th.
