2016 conference

Dear all

I am pleased to advise you of the details for the 2016 conference. It will take place on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rdof April 2016at the Warwick Arms Hotel, 17 High St, Warwick CV34 4AT. Members of the conference executive will need to be at the executive committee meeting on Thursday 21st April at 19.00 in the hotel.

DELAGATES.

I would appreciate if branches could encourage people to attend this conference. All members who work on or in the stations environment are welcome- Station staff, ticket sellers, station supervisors, cleaning staff, revenue protection and staff trainers are welcome. Attached to this email is a delegate registration form, which must be emailed to me/posted to me by 28th FEB 2016. Remember, branches are responsible for all financial costs for each delegate.

Layout of conference

Following the review of the RMT the conference will not only take motions, but will also focus on workshops on organising and other relevant subjects.

MOTIONS

I would appreciate if branches could start debating what they wish to talk about at conference Can I ask that all motions are emailed to me/posted to me by 28th FEB 2016 (although I would appreciate them as early as possible) Can branches please note – anything submitted after this date will be considered as an emergency and may not got on the agenda if the conference executive don’t consider it an emergency.

Hotel Availability

There are many hotels in the Warwick area and people are free to stay where they choose. I have arranged a room rate of £75 for a single, £85 for a single in a double room or £100 for 2 people in a double room. There are no twins. These include breakfast.. These can be booked by phone only by calling the hotel on 01926 492759 or emailing Emma at , quoting Booking reference 7912/Ross Marshall. This is on a first come first served basis. You are strongly advised to do this as early as you can. If you have already indicated to me you need a room, I have already booked this for you.
