EPT Traded Services 2012-13
Introduction
The EPT allocates time to 10 areas of activity outlined in the documentTime Allocation Model 2012-13 in the EPT area on Bradford Schools Online (BSO). Settings receive a Core allocation ‘free of charge’ to carry out non-statutory work. Statutory work is undertaken using time from a central EPT allocation. Approximately 8% of the EPT time is assigned to traded activity, though this figure may vary depending on demand throughout the year.
Traded Services to Settings
Settings are able to augment their Core allocation through:
- Purchasing Additional time
- Commissioning One Off interventions or training (for a list of suggested interventions please see Menu of Educational Psychologist Led Interventions 2012-13 in the EPT area on BSO)
Purchasing Additional Time
Additional EPT time can be purchased throughout the year subject to availability. However there is a discount available based on the number of sessions (morning or afternoon) purchased and the notice given. The table below outlines the scale of charges*.

Settings wishing to purchase Additional time should discuss this with their allocated EP or contact the Principal EP directly on 01274 385532.
One Off Interventions
Settings may wish to specifically commission interventions without using their Core allocation. A menu of developed interventions can be found in the EPT area on BSO. However we are willing to consider producing bespoke interventions not listedwhere these are potentially marketable to other settings. The cost of One Off interventions is given below:

One Off Training
Settings may wish to commission training without using their Core time allocation. The scale of charges is set out below:
