Our Field News
This week we will be a normal week, except that our school carnival is on Saturday. Please go to our school web site for all of the information. They are still in need of some volunteers also—so please consider helping out. The link to volunteer is also on our school web site.
For homework this week, your child will be going on the computer and going to IXL.com and typing .com. Please only have them spend 15 minutes on the assignments, even if they are not done. If you/they want to spend more time you can, but it is not necessary. Also, their username and passwords are written in their agendas, on the front page (or should be). If they are having trouble with IXL, their usernames are their 6 digit ID, plus @soleado, and their username is their birthdate (6-digit). For typing.com, their password is the same, but their username is usually their first name and first initial of last name (wendym, for example), although some students also have a number after (wendym2).
What We’re Learning This Week
This week in language arts, we are starting to read the novel Peter Pan. We are also continuing to learn more cursive letters. In math, we are beginning our unit on mental math. For Social Studies, we are still learning all map skills.

Math: IXL—A9, A10, & A11 (only 15 minutes total)
