About the Rutgers-Camden Student Nurses Association

The Rutgers-Camden Student Nurses Association (SNA) promotes professionalism and leadership for today’s students.Through the activities of governance, service and fundraising, the SNA officers and Executive Committee develop leadership skills, identify community service needs, and create ways to fund projects. The Rutgers SNA also increases awareness of healthy behaviors in the campus community and beyond. Many students and faculty are involved in volunteer activities, which in turn help model philanthropic behaviors and allows socialization for the new student in the professional role of the nurse as community leader.

Our Rutgers-Camden SNA not only fosters dedication to community service, it also draws on our expert faculty to connect students with local, national and international healthcare providers and aid organizations. From community service projects, fundraisers for international disaster areas, to taking courses which raise global issues, Rutgers-Camden Nursing creates an environment where students are acting locally, connecting nationally, and ...thinking globally.
