Job Description:
As Director for Charleston Operations, the candidate will oversee all program and business development activities related to SPAWAR Atlantic in Charleston, SC.
The candidate will be responsible for
- Growing the SPAWAR business in Charleston by
- Managing contract vehicles
- Leading task order proposal development
- Recruiting and managing project personnel for Charleston operations
- Managing Task Orders to ensure cost, schedule and scope compliance
- Maintaining strong relationship with the SPAWAR Program Management Offices and
- Building relationships with future SPAWAR customers and potential teaming partners.
- Managing and mentoring project personnel
- Close coordination with corporate senior management in Reston, VA HQ
Required Skills (Need proven experience – resume must substantiate assertions)
- The successful candidate will possess the ability to establish, manage, and lead the growth of business for supporting SPAWAR –Atlantic
- Experience with design and development of Service Oriented Architecture and best practices for developing secure and robust enterprise application
- Over 5 years of experience working with the Navy’s and Marine Corps’ C4ISR systems and emerging advanced technologies
- Must have 2 or more years of experience working for small business
- At least 5 experience managing multiple programs (or task orders) in professional technical services for SPAWAR Atlantic
- At least 4 years experience doing business development with SPAWAR Atlantic
- Project Management Skills (Cost Management, Schedule Management and Scope Management)

- Proven track records of personally writing and winning Task Orders
