Your multi-cultural exploration starts with Kampong Glam, one of the oldest ethnic quarters in the city centre. The traditional seat of Malay Royalty, Kampong Glam is a fascinating heritage district for locals and visitors alike. Gain valuable insights into the Islamic faith at the historic Sultan Mosque; pick up a tip or two on sarong-tying and catch various old trades in action, before they die out in a rapidly urbanizing city.

Note: Please be attired appropriately for the visit to the Mosque. Ladies should wear sleeved tops and long skirts/pants; men should wear pants/shorts that cover the knees.

Little India

Be bombarded by the colourful sights, exciting sounds and fragrant smells of our bustling Indian enclave! Through fun-filled and interactive activities such as henna art and sweets sampling, you will come to appreciate the richness of Indian culture. Then, enjoy an insightful introduction to Hindu practices, society and temple architecture inside the Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple to gain a deeper appreciation of Hindu Philosophy and its way of life.
