  1. I have JEE counseling on 14th. Can anything be done?

We have discussed this with IIT Delhi JEE office. They advise that such students should contact the JEE office, and arrangements will be made for them in which their parents can come on 14th morning to make the fee payment etc, and the student can then come at 1 pm (IIITD's test will finish by 12).

  1. Why is the eligibility criteria rather high in PCM marks?

IIITD's admission test is not on physics, chem, or maths, like other Engg tests are, and we rely on class XII education for these subjects. To ensure that students have the necessary background in these subjects, the eligibility criteria has been kept at this level in these subjects. Another reason is that IIITD has only 60 seats, and it is necessary to restrict the number of applicants to a reasonable number. The management also felt that it is not proper to ask a large number of students to sit in an admission test when there are only a few seats (some other places do this as they treat admissions as a source of income.)

  1. Is there a syllabus or sample questions?

As it is aptitude test, as mentioned in the brochure, there is no syllabus. Some sample questions will be posted in a day or so.
