The Action Hero Challenge- This Lent (40 days before Easter), we’re looking to become Action Heroes for Christ! Every Wednesday night at our 7pm Lent Service (FREE sub/soup/dessert dinner at 6pm), we’ll have an Action Challenge for you to complete for the next week. We want to 1) hear your success stories and 2) see pictures/videos of your experiences!
*There are Action Challenge Cards available for you to take home TODAY, with a 40+7 day Scripture for each day of the Challenge!

HOLY WEEK: Mark your calendars to experience a MAUNDY THURSDAY celebration that incorporates practices from the Old and New Testament Passover traditions on March 24 at 6pm! We'll journey together through a Seder Meal and a Last Supper with drama, liturgy, prayer, food, and song. Reservations are Required.

The Annual Meeting of the congregation will be next Sunday, February 28 at 10:15 a.m. immediately following the 9:00 a.m. MERGE service. All members are asked to attend. We will vote on the 2016 Budget and board nominations.

ANNUAL REPORTS and copies of the VISION PLANNING REPORT are available in the Lobby.

The GRIEF SHARE program will begin againon February 29th and will be held each Monday for 12 weeks at 6:30 p.m. This program is designed to help those who have experienced loss. The sessions are “open” so a person can come any time during the 12 week period.

Church Rummage Sale – April 8 and 9. Start cleaning and saving items to donate, but please do not bring them to the church until the week before the sale (April 3rd – 7th). More info. to follow.

The Women’s Guild The Women’s Guild is hosting their Lenten Communion Service and potluck luncheon on March 1. The communion service will be held at 11:00 with the potluck following at 12:00. We invite everyone to join us at our table. Invite friends to join us as we journey to Jerusalem in preparation for the crucifixion and resurrection of our Savior at Easter. A Sign-up sheet is in the narthex. Reservations needed by February 21. Meat and beverages provided. The guild board will meet at 9am on February 29.

A new “Spark” class will be offered Sunday, March 6 entitled: “The Life You’ve Always Wanted” taught by Doug Smith. Session topics, such as: “It’s Morphing Time”, “Slowing Down and Celebrating”, “Praying and Confessing”, will help you explore your spiritual life and discover ways to grow stronger in your faith.
