Osteoarthritis Clinical Care Standard

Topic Working Group

The role of the Osteoarthritis Clinical Care Standard Topic Working Group is to provide expert advice on the development of the Osteoarthritis Clinical Care Standard.

The main roles of members are to:

a)  advise the Commission on the scope and key components of care to be the focus of the Osteoarthritis Clinical Care Standard.

b)  advise the Commission on the key sources of evidence to inform the development of the Osteoarthritis Clinical Care Standard. This might include clinical practice guidelines, clinical standards, systematic reviews and meta-analyses.

c)  advise on the formulation of quality statements and supporting indicators.

d)  recommend to the Commission strategies to support the implementation of the Osteoarthritis Clinical Care Standard.

e)  actively support the promotion of the Osteoarthritis Clinical Care Standard.
