This training will describe the MoCA sub-test/domain components, assess various neuro-anatomical areas and address overlapping cognitive functions. Participants will learn how the MoCA was developed and how it’s administered and scored. Discussion will include the interpreting of MoCA test results which can be applied in the differentiate of Mild Cognitive Impairment, Alzheimer’s disease and benign forgetfulness. Opportunities to practice scoring and interpreting the MoCA as well as ask questions will be included in the training.
