Stealing Hearts idea originally shared with Love by Jenny Davis

Supplies you need:

3 gift bags (I use inexpensive paper bags from Target or Wal-mart and one bag is always different like mine is polka-dotted),

3 gifts (example recipe card in each bag along with one gift per bag; pan scraper, twixit-clip, and paring knife – this is duplicable for new consultants)

Deck of cards: the Suite of Hearts (13 cards) and Suite of Spades(13 cards)

Additional Supplies for New Consultants: Ticket Activity Stickers and Ticket Activity Q&A Sheet

How I do the Game:

I start the Stealing Hearts game the same way as the Ticket Activity by telling my story and asking “Who likes Free Stuff” I have 3 goodie bags here to give away. The name of our game tonight is “Stealing Hearts” and I want you guys to remember the name of the game because I am going to ask you in a little while what the name of our game is and one more time it is called…”Stealing Hearts”. The object of this game is to get as many cards as you can before I run out of cards. And there is only one way to get a card that is by asking me a question about doing Pampered Chef like I do or about my job. You can ask me anything from how many nights do you have to work, how much do consultants make, can you earn products for free, how much does it cost to get started and if you can’t think anything to ask, you can ask me question on the front of your catalog. Alright who has the 1st question…I only have so many cards to give out….

Go thru the questions exactly like you would do the Ticket Activity except you are passing out the Suite of HEART cards and when all the 13 cards are gone the game is over.

“Now that all the cards are gone the first 3 cards I call get to come up here and get one of these gift bags”. (I draw 3 cards from the Suite of SPADES deck and the matching HEART cards come up) then I say “Don’t get to comfortable with your gift and don’t peek inside” (sometimes same person gets more than one bag).

Now I say, “What was the Name of our game again?” (sometimes they remember and sometimes they don’t) “The name of the games is….STEALING HEARTS. Now when I call your card, I want you to jump up and run over to someone and grab a gift bag. Don’t feel bad about taking anyone’s gift because you are not going to be holding on to it long either. Ok ladies I am going to go really fast so if you snooze you loose. Ok the 1st card is….hurry go steal a gift.”

I call all the cards really fast and everyone starts laughing hysterically. This is a great way to end your show. The last 3 cards I call from the Suite of SPADES, the matching HEART cardholder gets to keep the gift (sometimes it is 3 different people and sometimes it is the same person).

All my new consultants are doing this, only they are using the attached Ticket Activity questions. And I furnish them with the Ticket Activity Q&A sheet from the online training with Pampered Chef. My new consultants are having guests ONLY ask the questions from the catalog if they are not comfortable with answering random questions.

Then I close this game and show with “Now everyone has a chance to win as I pass out the Customer Care Slip” (then I wrap up the show with the Customer Care slip) and explain my full service check out.
