Safety Information

1. Read the instructions. All user guidelines must be read before using this device

2. Keep the instructions for future use.

3. Only operate the device as indicated within this instruction manual.

4. The unit contains no user serviceable parts including the LED’s.

5. Do not use the unit for any purpose other than that for which it has been designed.

6. This unit is designed for domestic use only. It should not be used for commercial purposes.

7. This product is designed for outdoor use.

Battery Information

1. Always purchase the correct size of batteries for this product 1x 3.2V500mAhLi-Ion AA battery

2. Do not use standard (carbon-zinc) batteries in this product, a rechargeable battery are required.

3. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.

4. Ensure that the battery is installed correctly as marked polarity markings (+/-).

5. Remove the battery from the device if it is not to be used for an extended period of time.

Battery Installation/Changing the Battery

The product comes with the battery already installed. If the battery requires changing see below for instructions:

1. Remove the 4x small screws off of the rear plate of the solar wall light.

2. Remove the rear plate of the solar wall light.

3. Remove the battery inside the unit.

4. Replace with a new 1x new battery, ensuring that it is installed correctly as marked polarity markings (+/-).

Wall Mounting

Notes:

·  The solar wall light can be mounted to solid walls (using the screw only) or to non-solid walls (using the screw and rawl plug).

·  Tools required for wall fixing (with screws) are not included. You will need a drill and a Philips head screwdriver.

Wall mounting on wooden walls using 12mm self-tapping screws

1. First select the desired fixing location and mark the centre of the hole to be drilled on the wall surface.

2. Drill the marked point using a small drill bit (see fig. 1 below).

3. Screw the screw into the hole that has been drilled using a Philips head screwdriver.

4. Now fit the hole on the rear of the solar wall light over the head of the screw, ensuring that the light is secure. Installation is now complete.

Wall mounting on non-wooden walls using 20mm self-tapping screws and rawl plugs

1. First select the desired fixing location and mark the centre of the hole to be drilled on the wall surface.

2. Drill the marked point using a 4.5mm drill bit (see fig. 4 below).

3. Insert the rawl plug into the drilled hole (see fig. 5 below).

4. Tap the rawl plug into place, taking care to ensure that the front lip of the rawl plug sits flush with the wall surface.

5. Screw the screw into the rawl plug that has been fitted using a Philips head screwdriver.

4. Now fit the hole on the rear of the solar wall light over the head of the screw, ensuring that the light is secure. Installation is now complete.

Operation

Note:

·  The solar panel will detect when its dark, so this product will only work in low light conditions (dusk to dawn).

·  The motion detecting sensor will only work while the light is switched in auto mode.

·  The range of the sensor may vary according to season and the environment.

1. Flick the switch on the rear of the solar light to the auto position.

2. The light will turn off automatically after 25 seconds if no movement is detected. The light will turn on when movement is detected within a 5 metre range and a 90° angle to the PIR sensor.

3. Flick the switch on the rear of the solar light to the off position to turn the light off completely (note the sensor will not activate the light in this mode).
