3-Day Tactical Hosting Requirements

This is a list of required equipment/supplies to be provided by the host prior to scheduling this class with MCTFT. If you have any questions regarding these requirements, please contact MCTFT Coordinator Sgt. Steven Hartwell. Contact information is listed on the MCTFT Course Description page.

1-Building withmultiple rooms. Need to be able to shoot simmunition weapons inside

  • Three or Four rooms that can be used for individual movement and single room clearing. Multi-roomed structure(s) in close proximity of one another for team movement.
  • Proximity is required to achieve a round-robin effect. The more flexible the floor plans are, or the number of the structures available the better.
  • The training staff can do some sub-dividing or minor floor plan re-designs on site given the time and materials.
  • There is a potential to have simunition shot within all structures provided. These training munitions are easily cleaned.

2-Parking lot (should be isolated, but near the above building), will shoot simmunition weapons at that location.

3-Laptop, projector, speakers—to be set up in a classroom to hold the number of students 24-30

4-Van with seats removed ( to serve as our jump out vehicle )

5-Coolers- to keep bottled water and ice in to hydrate students

6-Garbage bags ( to collect up used water bottles etc) 12 bags total for the class

7-First aid kit—standard but should include cold packs

8-34 simmunition guns- one for each student plus 4 for instructors

9-5 Portable radiosused by instructors to communicate rotations during round robin training

10-Wasp spray (depends on facility)

11-3 ballistic or training shields

12-Paper targets, cardboard backers and target stands ( 4 portable stands, 4 backers 10 papers targets of any kind

13-4 Delta targets (if available) with weapons

14-Toolbox with pliers, screw drivers, hammer etcto address issues at training sites.

15-Simmunition rounds…..100-150 rounds per student

16-Gun cleaningkit

17-Clean up kit. Spray bottles and towels or brushes to clean up any overspray from the simmunition rounds.

18-10 x10 canopies (optional -for student comfort stations and keep gear dry if it rains )

19-large magnets for car doors ( prevents gun belts from scratching paint during vehicle assault training )

20-Instructor vests…red traffic vests 6 if they have them.

21-Simmunition safety gear—helmet and throat guard set- one set for each student plus 6 for instructors

22-1 roll of crime scene tape- to close off areas or warn of hazards...one roll.

23-Blank gun and rounds….we use this during an abort drill…we use 18-24 blanks per class.

24-Defensive tactics mats 4 4’x6’ mats.

25-Duct tape- just because men need duct tape

26-One ASP striking bag.

27-4 agency or attending student’s vehicles to be used during vehicle assault training

28-Eye protection-shooting eyes….each students should bring a pair to class or have host provide, used during line shooting drills.

29-White board or easel w/ markers and pad

30-Students should be told to bring their flashlights or light system that mounts on the sim-weapons.
