Victory Congressional Internship/Fellowship

For students who wish to spend a semester—or year, in the case of the fellowship—in Washington, DC working with an LGBTQ-friendly member of Congress, while gaining valuable leadership skills and working on a service project, the Gay and Lesbian Victory Institute’s Victory Congressional Internship would be a golden opportunity. There are spring, summer, and fall semester opportunities available. Details: unlike many—if not all—congressional internships, the Victory internship is all expense paid, including housing and a living allowance, making it accessible to students typically marginalized from such opportunities due to a lack of resources. The program also carries full academic credit and includes registration and accommodations for the International LGBT Leadership Conference. Read more on the internship.
