RYANI Young Volunteer of the Year

RYANI Awardsaims are:

  • To promote the good work carried out by our clubs and individuals.
  • To reward the hard work carried outin our clubs or more generally in the development of our sport.

In our Volunteer of the Year Award we are looking for:

  • Someone who has made a valuable contribution to sailing and/or boating e.g. has demonstrated leadership; undertaken an innovative project or otherwise achieved something significant for the benefit of the sport/their club.
  • The nominee should normally be a volunteer.
  • The nominee must be under the age of 18 on the 31st December 2016.
  • The nominee must be a member of the RYA
  • Applications will be assessed by the RYANI Development Committee and may not be awarded every year.
  • The successful applicant will be notified by 30th October and will be presented with the award at the RYANI Annual Awards in November 2016.
  • The decision of the Development Committee is final.

Applications for the award should be submitted to RYANI, House of Sport, 2a, Upper Malone Road, Belfast, BT9 5LA and must be received by the 19th August 2016 no later than 4pm. Applications received after this date will not be considered.
