Art 8

The eighth grade art class meets Blue 4 in Room #111. It is a semester long course designed to give the students an opportunity to study the visual arts. The students will experience the making of art using a variety of media and techniques in both two and three-dimensional art forms. Modern art and art throughout history will be explored in an endeavor to gain an appreciation of visual art.

Make-up work

Students will be allowed to make up all work when absent from this class. It is the responsibility of the student to arrange for make up work the day they return from an absence. Students will be allowed 1 school day per each day absent to make up missed assignments. Still life, painting, and sculpture projects must be completed at school. Students will need to make arrangements with me to stay after school to make up work that can only be completed at school.
