-

SINGERS CENSUS & AFTER PARTY SURVEY

The email about this was sent out to all current singers on Jan. 17th. If you registered for this rapidly coming to a close Fall season and you haven’t responded to that email please do so right away. We need the census numbers to track how many tickets are available to sell and the survey numbers to assist Floyd’s in ensuring that there is plenty of food with minimal waste at the party

WE’RE A NO NUTS CHOIR

All through this our Fall season our Tuesday rehearsals have been No Nut Tuesdays due to one of our member’s very severe nut allergy. So serious that even the smell of nuts on someone’s breath cause adverse reactions. Since that member will be singing in the concerts and may be coming to more than one of the up-coming rehearsals please make the choir a strictly No Nut Choir until after the concerts.

Avoid eating nuts in any form before, or at choir and please make sure that any food you bring to rehearsals or the concerts is completely nut free.

REHEARSAL AND CONCERT PARKING

A reminder that I will be checking in with McCall’s about parking in their lot (Vancouver & Johnson) on Jan. 29th, 30th & 31st and I will send out an email on the 28 or the morning of the 29th re: the Thursday rehearsal and another one on the afternoon of the 29th or morning of the 30th re: the weekend parking.

Please keep an eye on your email in-box in those time frames and only park in their lot if I give you the go-ahead.

As an alternative, if it is needed, consider printing out a map of downtown parking lots from http://en.parkopedia.ca which is self-described in the following note from them as:

“…a free website that lists all the publicly available parking lots and garages and also provides information about street parking.”
Best of luck with the event,
Christina Martinez, Parkopedia, Inc

Some of those listed are attached businesses or non-profits and may not be open to the public but it is probably worth contacting them to see as audience members and singers without the map won’t be considering them. If you can use them that leaves more of the commonly used parking spaces available for others.
