FLOOD IN KOSHI RIVER OF SUNSARI DISTRICT OF NEPAL
PLAN
Since the flood disaster in Koshi River more than 5,000 humans and their animals are living in different temporary shelters and tents for 4 years. They need flood proof shelters for themselves and their animals at the time of flooding. The flooded area included Haripur, Basantapur, Shripur, Laukahi and Pascim Kusaha.
IMPLEMENTATION
At least 1 Shelter will be constructed in each Village to accommodate a thousand humans and equal numbers of animals with adequate storage capacity of feed and other necessities for both animals and humans for 2 weeks.
BUDGET
Total budget for the construction of five shelters will be about $ 50,000 including transport, labor, material and other costs.
