Charities@Work is pleased to announce that the 2016 Corporate Impact Awards will be presented on March 30, 2016 in New York, New York as part of its annual Best Practices Summit. These awards spotlight one business and one individual that have given back to society in extraordinary ways.

The Corporate Excellence Award is given annually to one corporation for overall excellence in philanthropic giving, employee engagement or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

The Individual Partner of the Year Award is given annually to an employee of a major company who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to make a difference in her or his community. In addition, this award recognizes the individual who works to advance the continuum of engagement (education, volunteerism, giving) within their company and one who has served as an exceptional partner to the participating giving nonprofit partners.

Eligibility

Nominations are open to any company with an employee giving and volunteer programs and can be submitted by completing the attached nomination form and accompanying description essays. Preference is given to companies that have a partnership with one or more of the Charities@Work members. Nomination submissions must be submitted byFebruary 12, 2016.

Selection Process

An independent panel of industry leaders will judge the ballots for the Corporate Excellence Award.

Theseawardsare presented by the four members of Charities@Work: America’s Charities, Community Health Charities, EarthShare, and Global Impact and are selected by these organizations based on proprietary criteria and the recommendations from the judging panel.

Presentation

Finalists will be notified no later than February 23, 2016 and will be asked to provide promotional photography and short video testimonials from senior management for the awards presentation. Winners are required to be in attendance at the conference when the awards are presented.

Corporate Excellence Award

Awards Presented at Summit on Employee Engagement

AWARD CRITERIA:

The Charities@Work (C@W) Corporate Excellence Award is given annually to one corporation for overall excellence in employee engagement or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

The following criteria will be considered when selecting the Corporate Partner Award:

  1. Excellence in Workplace Giving: Conducts a highly engaged, workplace giving program.
  2. Leadership Engagement in CSR Activities: Executive leadership engaged in all CSR activities.
  3. Other Employee Engagement Best Practices: Is a leader in other best CSR employee engagement activities.

ELIGIBILITY:

  • All for-profit companies with a workplace giving programare eligible to apply for the award.
  • Preference is given to nominees from current Charities@Work partners, but it is not required for eligibility.
