TERMS OF AGREEMENT FOR CARRYING OUT EXPATRIATE SUPPORT SERVICES FOR EXXONMOBIL OIL AND GAS OF NIGERIA.

POSITION: COMMERCIAL DIVER

JOB LOCATION: BAYELSA, NIGERIA

STARTING DATE: 7th July 2011. On this date, you are to report at 8:00 a.m. to the Human Resources Department, where you will be provided with packet containing information on EXXONMOBIL NIGERIA. Benefits, facilities and services as well to attend an orientation program before job commencement. Should you accept this job offer, per company policy you'll be eligible to receive the following beginning on your hire date.

SALARY: starting salary of 18,000 (USD) monthly. All payment of Salary after assumption of duty in Nigeria shall be 75% paid into an offshore account to be provided by employee with the remaining 25% paid locally in Nigeria. This is in line with the NIGERIAN Expatriate Financial Statutory Laws.

PERFOMANCE BONUSES: Up to Eleven percent of your annual net salary, paid quarterly by your choice of cheque or direct deposit.

ROTATION: 28/28.

CONTRACT DURATION: 1 Year (Renewable)

PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT: This contract shall be for TWELVE months (1 year) beginning on 7th July 2011 with an option to renew at the mutual consent of both parties to the subject Contract Terms. Your employment is to continue until terminated by notice or under your employer’s disciplinary procedures.

HOURS OF WORK: Your normal hours of work per week will be as follows: Monday - Friday 9am – 4pm inclusive of public holidays. You shall be required to work such additional hours at such times as are reasonably necessary for the performance of your duties and will be entitled to receive any additional remuneration for work performed outside your normal hours.

JOB TITLE: The job title does not define or limit the work which you are employed to do and you may be required to do any work within your capacity which your employer from time to time requires including transfer between departments and work for your employers subsidiary, holding and other associated companies.

MOBILIZATION: The first monthly salary shall be paid in advance before you embark on your journey to assume duty. This is to enable you settle all domestic needs before travel. All payment of salary after assumption of duty in Nigeria can only be 75% paid into your foreign / offshore bank account to be provided by you with the remaining 25% paid locally in Nigeria. This is in line with the Federal Republic of Nigeria Expatriate Financial Statutory Laws. Expatriate shall also be liable to pay 10% of salary as withholding tax to the relevant authority in Nigeria.The contract shall run for (12) months; this is with effect from 7th July 2011, when the employee / expatriate assumes duty in Nigeria.

SCOPE OF WORK: Carry out non-destructive testing such as tests for cracks on the legs of oil rigs at sea • Check and maintain diving equipments such as helmets, masks, air tanks, harnesses and gauges • Communicate with workers on the surface while under water, using signal lines or telephones • Cut an weld steel, using underwater welding equipment, jigs, and supports • Inspect and test docks, ships, bouyage systems, plant intakes and outflows, and underwater pipelines, cables and sewers, using closed circuit television, still photography and testing equipment • Install pilings or footing for piers and bridges • Install, inspect, clean, and repair piping and valves • Obtain information about diving tasks and environmental conditions • Operate underwater video, sonar, recording and related equipment to investigate underwater structures or marine life .

JOB BENEFITS:

1. Visa: All International Applicant should note that EXXONMOBIL NIGERIA shall duly secure their Visa from the Home office of the Nigeria Immigration Services here in Nigeria for every applicant coming from outside the NIGERIA.

2. Work Permit: On your arrival, EXXONMOBIL NIGERIA. Shall secure your work permit papers from the HOME OFFICE here in NIGERIA which will enable you to live and work legally here in NIGERIA.

3. Flight Ticket: Your flight ticket shall also be sent to you, a week before your departure. You are to provide a working and valid postal address where your ticket shall be delivered through a courier service agent, inclusive of the Hardcopy of your Offer Letter and Certificate of Employment.

4. Accommodation: EXXONMOBIL NIGERIA Provides accommodation to all foreign nationals at the Company’s staff estate in Bayelsa. Employees are entitled to take meals free of charge at the General Staff canteens. Dietary options, Customized cooks and Dieticians are available options.

5. Orientation Program: Candidates are advice to arrive a week before job commencement date in order to attend the orientation seminar. Note there will no be further interview as your appointment is basically on the information, which you have provided on your resume before screening. There will be a routine check of your credentials on arrival by the Human Resource Department to confirm validity.

6. Reimbursement: The employee will be reimbursed by the employer for reasonable moving expense incurred only as a result of relocation or early termination of leases, storage charges: procurement of travel documents, immunization etc. Reimbursements shall be paid not more than five (5) working days from submission of report / and receipt as proof of payments.

7. Safety and Security: Safety and Security of personnel (Local/Foreign) and Facilities on Job Locations and communities are no small issues, and have been seriously considered to ensure and assure hitch free operations. All operations on Job Location are designed to adhere strictly to the Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy as applicable in the Company Sector. All expatriates are entitled to a free and mandatory safety courses on Job Locations to be delivered by qualified safety and environment experts.

8. Medical and Health Care: Employer will provide the employee and family with comprehensive Health care for the time of contract, and follow-on care for injuries suffered during the time of contract for employee and family.

9. Communication and Internet Facilities : Laptop Computer, Intel Pentium M Processor, 1 GB RAM, 48XCD-RW, 20GB Hard Drive, Floppy Drive, Integrated Network Adapter, Internal 86K Modem, Spare Battery and Necessary Software’s. 24 hours Internet access is also available. The company will also provide the employee with one land line phone at home and one mobile phone both will have a reasonable credit amount each month.

10.Allowances/Entitilements:Hazard/inconvenience:$3000.00(monthly).Maintenance:$1000.00(monthly),House Furnishings:$4500.00(yearly),Entertainment and recreation:$1000.00(monthly),Travel & Events:$3200.00(monthly).

TERMINATION: This Agreement may be terminated for the following reasons (1) Expiration of each current term subject to renewal. (2) If PARTY B / EMPLOYEE commits any serious or persistent breach or default.(3) For reason of bankruptcy of either party.
