New Rugged Nighthunter Riflescopes Tested to Over 1000 Gs and Deliver 94%+ Light Transmission

GREELEY, Colo. (Jan. 2014) — The Nighthunter Xtreme premium German-made riflescope line features high definition glass and rugged components. Over half a century of experience building rugged and reliable, mil-spec products provided Steiner the ability to develop this new line of hunting scopes. Many optics manufacturers boast shock resistance, but Steiner’s battle-grade components introduce a new level of toughness. The Nighthunter Scopes are tested to withstand up to 1000 Gs of force and are waterproof to 6 feet — with electronics installed!

Designed for challenging demands of European night hunting, the Nighthunter Xtreme riflescopes offer exceptional clarity under any hunting condition from sun up to sun down. Steiner has developed the proprietary Diamond Night™ lens coatings that deliver 94%+ light transmission for sharp, high-contrast images and edge-to-edge clarity especially during twilight when game is most active.

Whether you choose to pursue dangerous game in Africa, monster elk or trophy whitetail in North America or exotic game around the world, there is a Nighthunter scope to meet your needs. There are four models in the series: 1-5x24mm, 1.6-8x42mm, 2-10x50mm and 3-15x56mm.

The 1-5x24mm is the ultimate dangerous game scope with true eyes-open 1x magnification for quick, accurate close range shots. The 1.6-8x42mm is lightweight, offers maximum light at the low setting yet still offers 6x magnification at the high end. The 2-10x50mm model is ideal for tree stand or spot and stalk hunting with its larger field of view and 10x versatility. The 3-15x56mm with its larger objective provides exceptional clarity in low light. A side parallax adjustment increases sharpness and eliminates sighting error at long distances.

As with all Steiner optics, the Nighthunter Xtreme line of riflescopes is covered by the industry-leading Steiner Heritage™ Warranty. Steiner is committed to the very highest standards of quality, dependability, and most of all customer satisfaction. The Steiner Heritage™ Warranty assures you of that commitment.

Other Nighthunter Xtreme riflescope features include:

·  Steiner Smart Illumination™ that provides variable illumination of the red dot with memory recall of the last setting, plus battery-saving auto-shut-off.

—More—

·  NANO-Protection® that creates a hydrophobic molecular coating that repels water, dirt, dust, snow and fingerprints for easy cleaning and clear view.

·  Rubber armoring on turret caps, diopter and power ring to eliminate noise and provide protection in the field.

·  4A-I Reticle has three posts and illuminated red dot for quick, uncluttered target acquisition.
