St Margaret of Scotland Hospice seeks a highly motivated and organisedward manager who will report to the senior management team and be closely involved in all aspects of patient care. You will have excellent communication, leadership and people management skills in addition to extensive specialist knowledge and clinical experience caring forolder adults. Experience in the provision of general palliative care/end of life care is also a requirement.

St Margaret of Scotland Hospice has two in-patient units, one which provides specialist palliative care for patients with advanced life-limiting illnesses and another which provides care for the older person with complex medical and nursing needs.Community based patients and their families with specialist palliative care needs have access to support from staff within the Consultant led Out-patient Clinic, theEdwina Bradley Day Hospice and Clinical Nurse Specialists working within the Community Palliative Care Service.

This post will require flexibility to work on a rotational basis.

A Specialist qualification in working with older adults or end of life care would be desirable.

All successful candidates will require to be a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Adults Scheme.
