NOTICE INVITINGTENDER FOR SPARE PARTS OF PILOT BOATS KEENJHAR & KALRI.
Sealed tender are invited from manufacturers/Authorized distributors/suppliers/Sole agents and importers for purchase of Spare Parts of Keenjhar & Kalri.
2.Interested Parties/Firms may obtain Tender Documents containing detailed specification of the items from the office of Director (Stores),Port Qasim Authority, Karachi-75020, Direct Tel. No. 99272169 during office hours (09.00 to 14.00) on any working day except Saturday/Sunday or download from PQA and PPRA websites upto 14.9.2011.
3.The Bidders are requested to drop sealed tenders along with 2% earnest money (refundable) in shape of Pay Order in favour of Port Qasim Authority and copy of valid Sale Tax Certificate in Tender Box kept in the office of Director (Stores) Port Qasim Authority, Karachi on or before 15.9.2011 at 11:00 hours. The tender will be opened on same day at 11:00 hours in presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives, who may wish to attend. The documents received after due date and time will not be entertained.
4. The manufacturer/supplier has to certify the compatibility of the spare parts and if any difficulty is faced any time, in replacement/fitting of spare parts, the responsibility is to be borne by manufacturer /supplier and to be attended accordingly.
5.Port Qasim Authority reserves the rights to accept or reject any or all tenders and no claim whatsoever will be entertained in this regard. Authority’s decision in this respect shall be final.

The manufacturer / supplier has to certify the compatibility of the parts with installed components and if any difficulty is faced any time, in replacement / fitting of spare parts , the responsibly is to be borne by manufacturer / supplier and to be attended accordingly.
Other Terms and Conditions
1.The Bidder are requested to drop sealed tenders along with 2% Earnest Money in shape of Pay Order in favour of Port Qasim Authority and copy of valid Sale Tax certificate in Tender Box kept in the office of Director (Stores) on or before 15.9.2011 at 11:00 hours, which will be opened on the same date at 11:00 hours in presence of the bidders/ representatives who may wish to attend. The documents received after due date and time will not be entertained.
2. Details of the items and specifications thereof alongwith terms and conditions of the Tender can be collected from the Stores Department, PQA during office hours upto 14.9.2011 or can also be downloaded from Port Qasim / PPRA websites.
3. Rates quoted must be valid for 90 days from the date of opening of the tender.
4. Rates quoted should be on the basis of free delivery at Port Qasim Authority Stores Department, Bin Qasim Karachi-75020 including all taxes and transportation charges.
5. 100% payment will be made on completion of full Supply and submission of bill in triplicate, Account No, Name of the Bank be indicated on the body of the bill to facilitate payment. However part payment against part delivery may be allowed on request of the firm subject to provision of Bank guarantee.
6Liquidated Damages upto 10% will be recovered, if supply is not made within the contract period
7Only tenderers registered with General Sales Tax Collectorate are eligible. Copy of the General Sales Tax registration certificate must be enclosed with the tender.
8All type of taxes including GST and professional tax etc. will be borne by the supplier.
9 Earnest Money will be released after satisfactory supply & after payment of the bill.
10Tenders must be accompanied with Earnest Money @ 2% of the tender amount in shape of Pay Order in favour of Port Qasim Authority. Without earnest money, the tender will be rejected.
11Port Qasim Authority reserves the rights to accept or reject any or all tenders and no claim whatsoever will be entertained in this regard. Authority’s decision in this respect shall be final.
12The supply period is 60 days which will be reckoned from the date of acknowledgement of supply order by the bidder.
13 The bid will be evaluated on the basis of price tender requirement includes delivery period and other necessary factors laid down in NIT and Tender document.
