Dear Parents,
During the past two years, all KISD elementary schools began offering a Grade Recovery program. This program was designed to meet the needs of individual students who needed remediation to avoid retention in a particular grade. Grade Recovery will be offered in first through fifth grade for failing Math grades and Reading grades, as recorded on the report card, at the end of the 1st, 2nd and 3rdnine weeks. If your child qualifies, you will receive notification from his/her homeroom teacher. If concerned, check Gradespeed as the first report card is issued on November 1st.
Below is a description of the plan determined by Haude Elementary teachers and administrators to be most effective for the success of our Grade Recovery Program.
