The Cindy Donald Dreams of Recovery Foundation, Inc. is a new nonprofit organization formed in February 2008. We focus our attention on three major factors involved in the lives of individuals with spinal cord and brain injuries: (1) offering financial support for individuals to participate in therapy programs which are not covered by insurance, (2) granting individuals equipment to improve daily life, and (3) granting institutions financial support to perform research practices that promote recovery and improving quality of life.
Cindy Donald is a C4/C5 tetrariplegic devoted to not only improving recovery for herself but also for others in her situation. This organization is brand new and will be funded by the generosity of individual donations, multiple fundraisers, and corporate sponsors. We greatly appreciate all donations, volunteers, and new ideas that contribute to the success of this organization. Please join us in making these individuals dreams of recovery turn into reality.
The 1st Annual Dreams of Recovery Golf Tournament will take place on June 16, 2008 at the Dogwood Country Club in Austell, Ga. Media coverage is expected from various Atlanta and metro Atlanta news and radio stations. Consider this an opportunity to increase your positive public relations, advertising, and brand awareness.
Proceeds from this event will benefit individuals with spinal cord and brain injuries, and all contributions are tax deductible.
