The aim of the Local Enterprise Office Pop Upshop is to showcase and offer a venue for sales of the Local Enterprise Officeclientsproducts.
The process and key milestones for clients are as follows:
(1)Submissions of expressions of interest to be returned to LEO by 10thNovember, 2017.
(2)Selection by LEO Committee will then take place.
(3)Notification to clients by November 17th2017
(4)Briefings for Clients on November 20th, 2017
(5)PR & Launch 1st week in December
Selection of Clients by Committee
In order to avoid a large variety of similar products a selection process will be engaged by the LEO committee and the committee will review and give feedback on overall product mix.
Food Clients
Due to regulations Food Clients are only allowed to have food on sale for home use (i.e. sale of product for consumption on site is strictly prohibited under our terms). For Food companies who use equipment there may be a cost and this will be discussed at the briefing.
Application Process:
- Applications should in the first instance be returned to Jacqui Gaule, LEO Waterford, 35 The Mall, Waterford or
- The Committee will meet to carry out the selection process.
- Following selection, the applicant will be advised if successful or not.
- The client must attend a client briefing the purpose of which is to
- Brief clients on the set up
- Do Photography for PR / Signage & Marketing
- Introduce clients to our contractors for additional requirements
Media & PR
A media and PR Plan is being put in place for the event and we will use our media channels to promote the work of the Local Enterprise Office and clients.
LEO Pop Up Christmas Shop:
There will be no charge to selected clients as the aim is to provide clients with an opportunity to showcase and sell products that are manufactured in Waterford. All sales will be cash sales and monies from sales will be distributed on or before 22nd December, 2017.
Location of the Village:
The Deanery, Cathedral Square, Waterford City.
Co-ordinator:
Following a tender process a co-ordinator will beappointed shortly and will be introduced to them at the briefing session. It will be up to you the business owner to arrange pricing tags and liaise with the co-ordinator in relation to stocking etc., as they will be managing the premises in relation to stocking and selling, for both weekends. You as the promoter will not be required to be in the shop while open to the public.
