Minutes of IM Network Meeting: 05 August 2015

Issues discussed / Action1. / Situation update, available info and IM support needs:
- MIMU’s contact list is included all level such as central level, regional and field level humanitarian and development implementing organization partners contact therefore IM members agreed to be used as current flood emergency respond contact tool.
- MIMU’s 3W was included all humanitarian and development implementing partners’ activities by township and village level. It can be also used as contact tool for providing emergency aid assistance to the flood affected community.
- All IM members agreed on that UNOCHA should take main responsible for collecting, complying and responding the emergency dataset.
- MIMU will update meeting schedule on time at MIMU’s website as a source of sector and cluster emergency information purposes.
2. / EOC activation:
- Department of Relief and Resettlement, Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement had established Emergency Operation Centre and it was activated in early this week. EOC requested OCHA, MIMU and WFP to support to establish the IM team in EOC.
- The main aims of EOC is not only for collecting and complying emergency related responding information for government inter-ministries by using the standard data format in collecting information but also analysing these dataset and preparing report for publishing to national wide.
- Today, government organized coordination meeting with UN agencies and the international aids organizations at Nay Pyi Taw.
3. / Available data and data gaps:
- OCHA has prepared the flood affected area map which was based on the receiving information from various sources.
- IOM will share the affected and displaced population information
- MIMU is preparing to launch the updated administrative Pcode dataset in next week which was updating accordingly the village listing released by GAD in March 2015.
- MIMU is requesting to DOP to provide Village Tract Level population figures for all affected Village Tracts with was generated from satellite imagery analisis.
- UNFPA informed that Department of Population planned to provide the village/ ward level census 2014 population dataset and shared few CDs to participants.

4. / Assessments / IRA (OCHA) and assessment tracking system (MIMU):
- UNOCHA is preparing the template for Multi-sectors Initial Rapid Assessment (IRA) form.
- Based on the collecting the emergency assessment information, UNOCHA will prepare the IRA with the assistance of data entry and data processing from MIMU.
- UNOCHA and MIMU requested all IM members to share and upload their assessment information especially which related to current flood situation in MIMU website.
- Some CSO group planned to collect the assessment information and share to implementing partners. In this point OCHA requested IM members to disseminate the final version of OCHA’s IRA form for collecting data to CSO. / OCHA will finalize the 3W (response info collection) form in this evening and will circulate to partners for filling up the information and send back to OCHA by COB tomorrow. OCHA will disseminate the report in coming Friday.
5. / Managing data on response:
- MIMU requested to all IM members to use the humanitarian data standard which was developed in 2014 by IM-Network for collecting the information and this data standard sheet is available at MIMU’s website.
- OCHA will prepare the affected area and township information and share to IM members through IM member groups and MIMU information centre.

· The next IM Network meeting will be held on September 2nd , 2015 at 3 pm in MIMU Ground Floor Meeting Room, No.(5) Kanbawza Street, Bahan Township (near Toyota Car Show Room) / To send invitation and agenda
