The Psychiatric Social Service Spec 3 is responsible for administering, directing and coordinating treatment programs and activities for the Psy Social Services Department within policy guidelines of the Division of Mental Health and Addiction as stated in law and prescribed by the Clinical and Medical Directors to ensure the execution of effective treatment and training. The Psy Soc Serv Spec 3 shall also follow the administrative guidelines of other state governmental agencies such as the Department of Administration, State Personnel and the State Budget Agency and adhere to all statutory requirements. This position serves under the guidance and direction of the Clinical Director, working closely with the medical director, other physicians and staff in other departments.
