Alternative Spring Break Application 2017: Chattanooga, Tennessee

Alternative Spring Break is a positive way to spend your spring break week by serving others and learning while you serve. As a participant, you will have the opportunity to help serve the local community and get the opportunity to visit educational, historic sites nearby. Participants of the Alternative Spring Break Trip will depart on Monday morning, March 13, 2017 and return on Friday evening on March 17, 2017.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no minimum required amount of previous service that needs to complete to apply for Alternative Spring Break but, we are seeking students who are dedicated to service. There is a $50 fee that must be paid at the informational meeting if you are selected to go. Only 8 students will be chosen to attend Alternative Spring Break, and applicants will be notified via email if they are accepted or not on February 13th, 2017 by 5pm – please check your email frequently. All applicants will be chosen based off of their answers to the essay questions, their commitment to service, and that the application is turned in prior to February 3, 2017.
For all students who are chosen to attend Alternative Spring Break 2017, a mandatory informational meeting will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 2pm to 3pm, location to be announced in the acceptance email.
