Quality Circuits Squirt A’s go 1 – 1 on Weekend

The Quality Circuits Squirt A team hosted the Fargo North Raiders on Saturday. Quality Circuits scored first when Carter Randklev stole the puck moving around the defender and five holed the goalie. Quality Circuits made the score 2 – 0 when Randklev again stole the puck beating the defender and backhanding one past the goalie. Period ended 2 – 0. In the second period Randklev scored his hat trick taking a perfect pass from Logan Wentworth to beat the goalie and give Quality Circuits a 3 – 0 lead. Nate Longtin scored at the 3:51 mark taking a hard shot from the point that went five hole to give Quality Circuits a 4 – 0 lead at the end of two periods. Fargo added one goal in the third and the game ended with Quality Circuits getting a 4 – 1 win. Drew Luhning made 30 saves in net. Quality Circuits are coached by Mark Moxness and Jared Swiontek.

On Sunday Quality Circuits hosted a tough Sartell team. Sartell got on the board first scoring 1 in the first and 2 in the second to take a 3 – 0 lead before Randklev stole the puck a mid ice, moved around the defender and when top shelf to make it 3 – 1. Sartell added on one more and the period ended 4 – 1 Sartell. Quality Circuits came out in the third period with fire in their eyes putting constant pressure on the Sartell goalie. At the 10:10 mark Campbell Cichosz made a perfect pass from the corner to a perfectly positioned Randklev who beat the goalie glove side to make the score 4 – 2. Quality Circuits added another goal at the 6:13 mark when Declan Young passed to Longtin who skated the puck up shooting five hole to score and make the score 4 – 3. Quality Circuits continued to pressure the Sartell goalie making quality shots but the Sartell goalie held his ground and the game ended 4 – 3 Sartell. Luhning made 19 saves in net.
