FOREIGN LANGUAGE ASSOCIATION OF MAINE CONFERENCE 2014

In the spring of every year the Foreign Language Association of Maine (FLAME) holds its annual conference for World Language teachers throughout the state. This conference is the only statewide professional development event for language teachers at the elementary, secondary, and post-secondary levels. Last year the number of teachers in attendance surpassed the numbers of the past several years. We had well over two hundred attendees over the two days.

On behalf of the FLAME Conference Planning Committee, we would like to invite you to participate as an exhibitor at the 2015 FLAME Conference at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland, Maine. The conference will consist of a pre-conference workshop on Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 3:30 to 9:00 pm and conference on Friday March 6, 2015 from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. There are many opportunities for teachers to visit the exhibitors. We are now accepting vendor reservations on a first come first serve basis.Please note the new exhibitor fee on the registration form.

Each exhibitor will be provided with tables(s) available for set-up on Thursday after 2:00 pm. The Holiday Inn will have a security guard on duty, but not specifically for the exhibitor area. If you are unable to set up on Thursday, we ask that you are set up and ready for business by 7:30 am on Friday. Please note that materials cannot be shipped in advance as the Holiday Inn is unable to provide us with storage space. We are also unable to return shipments.

We hope that you will take advantage of this great marketing opportunity and participate as an exhibitor at our FLAME Conference. If you are interested, please return the attached form with your check or money order (made payable to FLAME) by February 1, 2015. Also, for added exposure, your company may sponsor an event during the conference or pre-conference or donate a door prize to be drawn at the luncheon. Please refer to the enclosed form for more information and indicate if you would be willing to sponsor any of the events.
