1. Research duties:

I helped in planning, writing and conducting research projects in Assiut University.

2. Teaching duties:

I teach 12 courses of medical physiology for undergraduates (eight sessions per week), in addition to two hour for the students of the High Institute of Nursing (HIN).

These courses include :

  1. Physiology of cardiovascular system
  2. Physiology of digestive system
  3. Physiology of respiratory system
  4. Physiology of autonomic nervous system
  5. Physiology of cental nervous system
  6. Physiology of endocrine system
  7. Physiology of reproductive system
  8. Physiology of blood and immunity
  9. Physiology of special sense
  10. Renal physiology and acid base balance
  11. Cell physiology
  12. Physiology of muscle and nerve

2. Other scientific activities:

  2. Statistical analysis.
  3. Attended courses of neurophysiology concerning evoked potentials and recording of EEG,EMG and nerve conduction studies

pulmonary function tests at chest department, assiut university hospital

Major Research Interests:

“Disorders of nutritional health especially concerning obesity and metabolic syndrome and their impact on different body functions”

Title: Insulin resistance, mechanisms and sequences, Supervised by:ProfessorMostafa G. Mohamed and Manal M.K. Abd EL- Samee in the Faculty of Medicine, Assiut University, Egypt, MAY , 2009. Grade: excellent.

Ph.D. Thesis Research:

Under preparation and it investigates the relationship between the level of adipokines in obese experimental animals and fertility parameters and to study the underlying mechanisms.

Medical Statistics & Computing:

  • Onemonth course in Medical Statistics, Assiut University “August 2011”.
  • Many courses in operating computers , word processing (Word for windows), spread sheets (Exel), presentation (Power Point), data bases (Access), data analysis (SPSS), Reference Manager (endnote), use of Internet, and thesis & articles writing.
