The Position

We’re growing quickly, and need an experienced sales executive to facilitate that growth. If you can work hard, build and lead a team of business development performers, be a key part of the leadership team and growth of our company, and deliver results, we want to talk. The VP of Business Development will take ownership of generating revenue and prospecting for new business, as well as leading the Business Development team. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading our Business Development function
  • Functioning as a key member of our executive management team in setting company vision and direction
  • Leveraging relationships with existing clients to build loyalty
  • Maximizing revenue relating to re-contracting efforts with existing clients
  • Closing persuasive, but professional, sales of large B2B contracts
  • Converting leads to revenue, and prospecting for new business
  • Meeting sales targets on a consistent basis, both individually and as a team
  • Training and developing team members
  • Creating an engaging environment for a growing sales team

The Right Fit

We work with large companies (Fortune 500) on major projects, so we’re looking for rainmakers who can speak the language of business. Some travel may be required (typically less than 30%). The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, entrepreneurial, gregarious, experienced, and highly ambitious. Required attributes include:

  • Education: BA/BS or equivalent education is required, with a graduate degree preferred
  • Experience: 10+ years business experience is a must, with senior-level management responsibility for leading a growing team highly preferred
  • Assertive: Speaks confidently and recommends solutions
  • Interpersonal skills: The ability to relate to and understand individuals and organizations
  • Professional: Comfort speaking to executive levels in large organizations
  • Ambitious: Drives for high-level performance, both financially and professionally
  • Strong business acumen: Understands and speaks the language of business
  • Gregarious: Enjoys connecting with people and loves closing business deals

Hours and Schedule

This position will begin ASAP – we’re ready and excited to have you on board. This is an on-site, full-time position based in Provo, Utah.

Compensation
