1.) The application and all additional documentation must be submitted in a manila folder with no identifying marks (name) on the outside to the Student Government office (folders are available in the Student Government office upon request). Please check the Student Government office for position availability and deadlines.

2.) Include a detailed résumé outlining your previous leadership experience(s), any committees/organizations you have been involved with, your educational experience, skills/talents, awards/honors, and three individuals who may be contacted as references.

3.) Answer the following essay question on a separate sheet of paper: “Passion is an essential component in success. What are your passions, and why do you want to be a member of Student Government?”

4.) Submit an example of a class project (paper, presentation, portfolio, etc.) or a project completed outside class (a letter, proposal, etc.) that best represents your professionalism.

5.) You may also submit letters of reference, additional documents, or media files to enhance your application.
