This is a great vocabulary review game. Use the questions and answers on the following pages to create game cards. Place a vocab word and a definition of a different vocab word on each card. The cards should “connect” to one another from the “start” card to the “end” card.
Give each pair of kids a game card. The teacher begins the process by saying “Who has start?” The pair of kids with the start card gives the definition on the card. The pair with the correct term, reads their term as well as the next definition. Kids really have to pay attention to each other. Time stops when the last card (End) is read.
After each round, mix up the cards and hand them out. Give the class 2 practice times and them time them twice. I challenge each class to do it in under 2 minutes. One class did it in a minute 14 secs.
