The wife of thy youth.
Mal. 2:14-15
Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant. 15And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.
Why is it that there are literally hundreds or organizations today that are trying to help people find a compatible mate?
The reason is because people are trying to find God’s will with out God. You see they are looking for happiness that only God can give them. God is the founder of life and as the creator and originator of human personality God is master of compatibility.
The most important decision that any one can make in this life is whether one is willing to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and then second to that is whether one will allow God to lead them to the right life partner. This is very, very important and all of the rest of your human existence will be greatly effected by these two decisions.
God as the designer of life knows exactly what every couple needs. God’s ability to perfectly match people together is something that those that experience His grace can all testify. God has the ability to make two separate distinctly different lives in to one complete unit. Like an inventor places two gears together in motion. It takes perfect compatibility for the devise to function and serve it’s purpose in the mechanism.
Today too many people are going around from gear to gear trying to find where they fit in. Yet God already knows this and single persons would be wise to commit this match making business to God in prayer and seek His leading in the most important decisions of life.
People that allow for God’s providential arrangement of their future’s have the most satisfying relationship that is humanly possible.
Again let’s look at our text reading
Mal. 2:14-15

What is a companion? It is company to keep you from being lonely. A friend to help you along in the journey. She is a gear to help you accomplish God’s plan and purpose for your life.

15And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his
youth.
The greatest blessing that God can give to man is a compatible wife. The word “one” means two incomplete lives alone will become complete together. The compatibility factor is perfectly fitted by God for each other.
This compatibility is in many ways.
Spiritual, Emotional, Mental and physical. Only God as our designer knows our every need. Jesus is the only one that can make this kind of compatibility possible. The abundant life is the compatible life. Not only with our soul mate but also where we fit into life in general. God fits two compatible lives in to a cohesion that is bonded together so strong and so cemented that the union is welded to make up a single unit.

The result in the recognition of this is a godly seed. That is what kids need to see. They need to witness this unifying compatibility factor in their parents. The Power of God to complete their parents lives becomes what they will seek after by maintaining a close relationship to the God that has this ability. The ability to blend separate lives into a union of perfect compatability
This is what makes the Gospel beautiful.
Knowing these truths couples need to be careful not to allow the Devil to tempt
them to seek happiness in any one else.

The result of couples allowing God’s leadership in this whole process is children will want God to do the same for them. God wants to communicate to kids through their perception of God in the lives of their parents. This is the most revealing illustration that God has to work with.
Divorce is the wreck of God’s opportunity to do this. And hence the ruin in the culture and the ruin of a civilized God fearing society.
God help every single person to dedicate their life to the Lord Jesus Christ. Then it is my hope that every young person that will, will allow their creator to mesh their life together with that special person that will make up the half of them that they lack right now.
